Meet Your Game Master

Jacob — "Darkwulf

I've been running tabletop RPGs for nearly twenty years, and I still get the same feeling every time a player's eyes go wide at a plot twist or a clutch roll saves the party. That moment is why I do this.

I started Darkwulf Studios because I believe a great Game Master makes the difference between a good game and an unforgettable one.

I don't run games off a shelf — every session is built around your group. I write custom storylines, prep handcrafted terrain, and adapt on the fly so the world feels alive and your choices actually matter.

My homebrew world, Aranor, has been shaped by years of player decisions and has its own deep history, pantheon, and political landscape. But if you'd rather play in an established setting or a totally different system, I'm just as comfortable there.

For older kids (ages 10+), I run adapted D&D with simplified rules and age-appropriate content.

My style in three words:** Immersive. Adaptive. Prepared.

I'm based in the Salt Lake City area and run most games in person — I bring the terrain, the minis, the maps, and the atmosphere. I also run virtual sessions for groups who can't get to the table.

If you've never played a TTRPG before, don't worry. Some of my favorite sessions have been with brand-new players discovering what the hobby can be. I'll walk you through everything.
